Heartland Gas Initiative
HGI is a joint municipal project to bring natural gas service to an area of southern Manitoba, Canada. The project is supported by some 16 local governments in the area.
Project Status Report
The Heartland Gas Initiative Committee, at its October 2004 meeting, voted to place the project "on hold" for the next year owing to a number of economic issues impacting on the HGI region. The committee will meet in October 2005 to determine the next steps for the initiative.
